That marriage is between two families

It never was, is or will be
Either it is between the two
Or it's just a societal requirement

One seeks a luxurious bread winner
While other seeks a self earning servant
But Neither of the family
Accepts the outsider like their own blood

Each of them wants to be practical
Only when it suits their requirements
No one is actually concerned about others emotions

To ensure your life remains smooth
Outsider is asked to amend their rules
By wrapping everything in the cloak of adjustment

Many things or views are not thought through
Agree, nothing can ever be full proof
Atleast the minds should be open to face the new

No wonder the present generation fears by its name
As elders assumed it to be a mere formality
But now people are looking at it as a huge responsibility
