End of an Era

Tonnes of information falls in my ears
But can't find for it, an ear to hear

Lot of gossips happen around
But there isn't any one with whom I can share

Never thought I will be short of company
Even if there are few heads, alone is what I prefer

Sometimes I miss those old days
The noon walk and tea breaks

Those anytime chats or jokes when crossing paths
Secret telling smiles and sign language talks

Now it seems The Era has ended
Curtains are finally down, the play has ended
