Still we don't give up
They hurt, sometimes with a killer blow
Still we won't budge the next time
Actions might not be wrong for you
But my expectations failed, that is only true
Words were perfect from your point of view

Can never blame you
I should learn to expect less
To avoid getting these mighty blows
Each time I try
Still end up expecting in the next
Can't react for my foolishness in front of you
